Honoring Our Gifts (13)The journey up to now is everything we’ve ever experienced from our perspective with a smattering of other people’s opinions mixed in. The journey up to now is pretty much who I am and who you are. Think about all we’ve experienced thus far in our lives. It’s been amazing. It’s been depressing. It’s been exciting. It’s been boring. It’s been unending. It’s been everlasting.

The gift of the journey up to now is this present moment. This moment would not be the same as it is right now without all I’ve been through. This moment is all that it is because of every other moment that’s happened up until now.

Honoring the Journey & People in it:

So breathe in the beauty of you in this current moment. Take the time to reflect upon where your path has gone and upon those you’ve met along the way. Be grateful to those places and people for helping shape who you are right now.

There are those who we started this journey with, or met along the way, who are no longer with us. Those who had their own experience from their perspective. Those who have helped to make us who we are and yet their journey has ended. I take this moment to honor and give thanks to those whose journey has ended and yet I will keep them alive in my journey and recognize the gifts I’ve received.

Who are those you will take a moment and honor?

What are the parts of yourself that are alive today because of who they are to you?

Simple ways to be grateful for our gifts. And of course, you don’t have to stick to our calendar – you can be grateful for anything that comes along today. This is just a prompt.

I’d love to hear what you are honoring today and how you are doing it. Check in with us and leave some comments.
