Honoring Our Gifts (3)

Have you ever been humming along in life, making decisions, seeing people, and doing things when suddenly a strong internal sense of the situation arises? Thought forms begin to coalesce and suddenly you are seeing the situation from a different perspective, or your attitude adjusts and things don’t seem so dire. Perhaps you’ve been hearing some inner wisdom, which has assisted in transforming what is happening and allowing you to see and hear what is happening at a different level.

Inner wisdom can visit at any time and help reveal new ways of looking at things. One can intentionally invoke inner wisdom by sitting still and meditating, praying or otherwise looking within. Inner wisdom shows up for me sometimes as a knowing sense of how to approach a particular situation. Inner wisdom helps me see how I can change my behavior to be fairer and just in some situations and perhaps clearer and more direct in others.

Honoring our Inner Wisdom

I honor the gifts of balanced approach and clarity of vision which inner wisdom has given me. Take a moment and think about some situation you’re going through and allow it time to percolate in your mind. Be present with whatever thoughts come and allow them to be. Keep the correcting and redirecting thoughts to a minimum. Be the observer and see yourself and others as players you are witnessing.

What sense of the situation comes to you?

What does your inner wisdom have to relay to you about what’s going on?

What are the gifts of your inner wisdom you will honor?

Simple ways to be grateful for our gifts. And of course, you don’t have to stick to our calendar – you can be grateful for anything that comes along today. This is just a prompt.

I’d love to hear what you are honoring today and how you are doing it. Check in with us and leave some comments.
