{Charlie’s Gift Perspective}

Each person has a certain set of skills they’ve been blessed with and perhaps some they’ve worked really hard to develop over time. It doesn’t matter how you’ve acquired the skills you possess, and how often do you take a moment and recognize the talents and skills that see you through the day? What would it involve and how would you benefit from acknowledging those characteristics of yourself?

So take a moment today and consider your skills, characteristics and talents.

  • What are you good at doing?
  • What do you enjoy doing?
  • What is an unique gift that you have and can honor?
  • What are some of the characteristics that make you feel pride?

Honor Your Gifts

This challenge is about identifying the skills you possess and honoring them. How are you going to honor your gifts? Can you…

  • Nurture that gift in some way?
  • Grow or expand the gift in some way?
  • Use the gift in a new way to benefit yourself or others?
  • Take a moment to thank those who nurtured these gifts with you along your journey?

Go  a little deeper if you like.

Take a moment and consider how you would explain to someone else what you are doing when you are in the zone and your skills are being utilized to your fullest ability. What does it look like and sound like? How are others impacted? What are the gifts you bring to the world due to these talents? How can you honor these gifts?

Simple ways to be grateful for our gifts. And of course, you don’t have to stick to our calendar – you can be grateful for anything that comes along today. This is just a prompt.

I’d love to hear what you are honoring today and how you are doing it. Check in with us and leave some comments.
